VirtoKids is a screen-free drop-off play space in downtown Southern Pines for kids 2.5 to 10. You get a few hours back. They get a room full of things to climb and kids to climb them with.

Hi, I'm Abbey.
I started Sandhills Nanny Co. in 2021 after years of working as a nanny myself, matching Moore County families with caregivers they could actually trust.
The same request kept coming up. Not a full-time nanny. Not a date-night sitter. Just a few hours, today, for the dentist, the deadline, or the lunch that keeps getting cancelled.
So we built VirtoKids. Real caregivers, a space made for kids to move, no screens, and booking you can do this morning for this afternoon.

Shoes off, grip socks on
Everyone wears our grip socks in the play space. They stay here and get laundered between uses, so nothing comes in from the parking lot.
The play space stays food-free
Want them to have a snack? Pack one. Snack time happens in the hallway, away from the play area, so the foam pit stays a foam pit.
One caregiver for every six kids
Our ratio is 1:6, staffed by caregivers from Sandhills Nanny Co.
Clean, and then cleaned again
We clean and disinfect the space with Force of Nature, a hypochlorous acid disinfectant, between groups.
Ages 2.5 to 10, potty trained or not
Diapers and pull-ups are fine. Up to four hours per visit.
One waiver, signed once
Sign it before your first drop-off and you're set for every visit after. Sign the waiver.
