At VirtoKids, we believe play is about more than just keeping kids busy—it’s about building connections. As the sister business of Sandhills Nanny Co., our space is designed to give families a safe, boutique place to gather, let their kids explore in small groups, and create meaningful relationships. From donation-based open play to special drop-off events and nanny-and-littles playdates, our passion is supporting local families and caregivers. VirtoKids is a community hub where parents can breathe easy, kids can thrive, and everyone feels a little more connected.

Meet the Founder

As a seasoned career nanny, devoted mother, and believer.  Abbey has always had a heart for children and families. Her deep love for caring for others led her and her husband to create Sandhills Nanny Co., a nanny placement agency serving all of North Carolina. Through Sandhills Nanny Co., Abbey, and her husband have been able to connect families with trusted, experienced caregivers, helping parents find reliable support for their children. Over the years, Abbey’s dream grew - leading her to open VirtoKids, a safe, joyful space for children while offering parents a chance to rest and be refreshed, knowing their little ones are well cared for.
